At Evolution Spine & Sports Therapy, LLC, we understand that you might be experiencing pain that’s holding you back from life.
We’ll do everything possible to relieve your discomfort quickly, seeing you promptly to thoroughly evaluate your condition.
When you call to book your time, we’ll get your insurance information from you so that we can verify your coverage ahead of time. Then, when you arrive, we can explain your benefits to you.
Your First Appointment
You’ll go back to a treatment room immediately to discuss your history with Dr. Travis or Dr. Charlie. We’ll then get started on a comprehensive examination including
- A movement assessment
- Neurological testing
- Orthopedic testing
- Muscle testing
If X-rays are needed, we’ll set up a referral to send you to another facility. We’ll then get started on treatment immediately. Dr. Travis will discuss your treatment frequency and duration with you so that you know exactly what to expect. This visit takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
Follow the booking of your first appointment you will receive multiple intake forms which you can fill out online.
Subsequent Visits
The following appointments will go according to the plan you and Dr. Travis discussed at your previous visit. We’ll do everything in our power to get you feeling 100% again. Each appointment consists of a continuation of what was done on the first visit. As part of your continued care plan, you’ll receive therapeutic exercises at the appropriate time to address the strengthening and stabilization of any weakened areas. Each follow-up visit takes about 20-30 minutes.
Do I Have to Go for the Rest of My Life?
We’ll talk to you about the importance of regular visits. Chiropractic care can keep you feeling healthy and being active. If you have an injury, you may need to see us more often to get out of pain. Our goal is to develop a relationship with you to help keep you healthy throughout your life.
Chiropractic care is similar to going to the dentist for regular checkups. Having your teeth cared for regularly may help ensure excellent oral health. Similarly, having your spine checked on a regular basis may contribute to experiencing great overall health! You don’t, however, need to go frequently for the rest of your life, and we’ll never recommend visits that you don’t need.
